Acceptable Use Policy
What may and may not be generated with RapWorks, how we moderate, how to report content, how fast we respond and how to appeal.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is part of the RapWorks Terms of Service and applies to every content type the product handles:
- Video: AI-generated rap performances, including the two people and the scene.
- Audio: generated vocals, backing tracks and lyrics.
- Images: the two uploaded reference photos and any generated frames.
- User inputs: names, occasion text and any other prompt field in the studio.
- Reports and appeals sent to our support address.
2. Content standards
RapWorks prohibits generating the following six categories of content: pornography or NSFW material; violence or gore; hate speech; child-unsafe content; deepfakes or impersonation of real people; content that infringes copyright or trademarks.
2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance
The following are blocked and may be reported to the relevant authority:
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism or mass violence.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including nudification or intimate-scene compositing.
- Deepfakes of real individuals — fabricated statements or actions — whether or not the person consented.
- Threats of violence, instructions for weapons, or content that encourages self-harm.
2.2 Restricted — allowed only with a clear creative context
Some themes are allowed only in a clearly fictional, non-deceptive, non-targeted way: competitive rap battles that are friendly; birthday roasts aimed at a consenting friend; exaggerated performance bravado. Content that targets a real person with humiliation, or that could be read as a real statement by a real person, is not allowed.
2.3 Generally prohibited conduct
The following conduct is also prohibited:
- Generating or spreading misinformation or presenting AI output as real footage.
- Impersonating real individuals, brands or organisations.
- Infringing intellectual property, publicity or privacy rights — including artist names, logos, album artwork, lyrics or music-video recreations.
- Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
- Attempting to bypass safety filters, credit checks, rate limits or authentication.
2.4 Uploaded photos and consent
RapWorks requires two photos of real people, so uploads are restricted: you may upload only your own photos, or photos of people who have explicitly agreed to appear in an AI-generated video. The studio asks you to confirm this before every render. Uploading someone else's photos without consent is prohibited, and consent does not authorise any deepfake or intimate content prohibited above.
3. Content moderation
RapWorks uses layered checks rather than relying on a single filter:
- Input filtering: every upload is validated for file type, size and a usable face; the names/occasion text fields are scanned for prohibited terms before a render is submitted, and a match blocks the request.
- Consent attestation: every render requires the uploader to confirm permission from the people in the photos.
- Report-driven human review: reported videos and accounts are reviewed manually against this policy, with the render, upload and account history examined.
- Account controls: the operator can pause rendering globally, refund a render and suspend an account when a violation is confirmed.
- Periodic review: reports, blocked requests and enforcement actions are reviewed to improve the filter list and this policy.
4. Reporting
Report content or behaviour that breaks this policy: prohibited content categories, critical child-safety or terrorism content, or AI impersonation and infringement of your own rights.
Reports are treated confidentially, reviewed on their merits and not used against the reporter. Deliberately false or abusive reports are recorded and may lead to restrictions on the reporting account.
5. Reporting channels
The monitored reporting channel is email: support@rapworks.store. Please include the video or render link, the account email if known, and a short description of the issue. For rights complaints, include the work you own and the rights you hold.
6. Response and processing timelines
We aim to meet these windows (business days, excluding weekends):
- Critical (child safety, terrorism, imminent harm): acknowledge within 24 hours, action within 48 hours.
- High (non-consensual imagery, credible threats, clear infringement): acknowledge within 3 business days, action within 7 business days.
- Standard (other policy violations): acknowledge within 5 business days, resolution within 15 business days.
- If a review needs longer, we tell the reporter why.
7. Enforcement actions
Depending on severity and history, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Written warning requiring removal or correction.
- Removal of the violating video and its source render.
- Credit adjustment or restriction of rendering features.
- Temporary account suspension pending review.
- Permanent ban for critical violations or repeated high-severity violations.
- Referral to law enforcement or the relevant platform where the law requires it.
8. Appeals
You may appeal an enforcement decision within 14 days by emailing support@rapworks.store with the subject line 'Appeal'. A reviewer who was not involved in the original decision re-examines the evidence. We aim to respond to appeals within 10 business days. Appeals do not suspend the original action unless we decide otherwise.
9. Transparency and policy updates
We review this policy when the product, models or regulations change. Material changes are published on this page with a new 'last updated' date; continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
