Privacy Policy
What the beta collects, why the photos are deleted within 24 hours, and how to get a video removed.
The short version
RapWorks does not require an account. To render a video we need the two photos you upload and the short cue you type. Those photos are used to generate your video and are not kept beyond 24 hours. We do not sell your photos, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not use them to train our own models.
The beta runs on a minimal stack: a web app, a quota counter keyed to your IP address, and a temporary store for the renders you download. There are no advertising trackers and no cross-site profiling on this site.
What we collect
We collect as little as the render needs and nothing that identifies you as an account holder.
- The two photos you upload, used as references for the render.
- The names and occasion text you type into the cue fields.
- Your IP address, used to apply the two-free-render limit and to prevent abuse.
- Limited operational logs (timestamps, errors, render status) used to keep the service working.
How we use it
Your photos and cue are sent to our model provider only to generate your video. They are not used for marketing, sales targeting or resale. The IP address is used for quota enforcement and abuse prevention, not to build a profile of you. Operational logs are used for debugging and security.
We do not ask for an email address, a phone number or payment details during the beta. If that changes for paid plans, this page will be updated before any collection starts.
How long we keep it
Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours of the render. Renders are stored temporarily so you can download them; the beta is not a permanent library, so download your MP4 promptly. Operational logs are kept for a short period for security and debugging, then deleted.
If you ask us to remove a specific video or set of photos, email us with the URL and we will remove it. Because we do not have accounts, we may ask for enough detail to identify the specific render.
Who processes the data
We use infrastructure and model providers to run the service: a cloud hosting provider for the app and temporary storage, and an API provider for the Seedance 2.0 reference-to-video model that generates the performance and the audio. These providers process the photos only to deliver the render we ask for.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share uploads with advertisers or data brokers. If we are required by law to disclose something, we will disclose only what is legally required.
Consent, likeness and takedown
Only upload photos of adults who have agreed to appear in an AI-generated video. If a video uses your likeness without your permission, email us with the URL and a short description; we will remove it and, where appropriate, block the offending upload pattern.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a video was generated from a minor's photo, contact us immediately. Photos of minors are prohibited outright, and we treat that report as urgent.
Cookies and analytics
The site stores small local preferences in your browser (for example, the scene or tier you picked, and your cookie choice). Those stay on your device and are not sent to a third party.
We use two analytics tools to understand which scenes and pages people use: pvuv.ai, a privacy-friendly traffic counter, and Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation. Neither loads until you accept analytics in the cookie banner, and rejecting analytics does not limit any feature of the site. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
We do not run advertising cookies, we do not build cross-site profiles for advertising, and we do not sell personal data. If that ever changes, this page will name the tool before it goes live.
Your choices and rights
You can use the product without an account, and you can decline to use it at any time. To ask what data is associated with a render, or to request deletion, email us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law; we will honour those requests as required.
Children cannot use RapWorks. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not accept photos of minors.
Changes and contact
If the data practices change — for example when paid plans launch and a payment provider is involved — we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
Questions or requests: hello@rapworks.store. Include the render URL if your request concerns a specific video.
