Refund Policy

There is nothing to refund during the free beta. This page documents the planned paid-phase policy in advance.

Today: the beta is free

Nothing on RapWorks is for sale during the public beta. There is no checkout, no top-up and no subscription, so there is no payment to refund. If you used a free render and did not like the result, the honest answer is that the render cost you nothing — try a different photo, or wait for the next idea.

If you believe you were charged by something claiming to be RapWorks, email us immediately. We do not currently take payments, so any charge is either a different service or a scam, and we want to know about it.

When paid plans launch

The planned paid model is one price per video, not credit packs. This policy is published in advance so you can judge it before spending anything. It will take effect only when the paid option is live and this page says so at the top.

  • A render that fails for a technical reason is not charged and does not consume a paid render.
  • If you are charged for a render that never completes, you receive a full refund or a replacement render, your choice.
  • Duplicate charges are refunded in full.
  • A successfully delivered, downloadable video is a digital product and is generally not refundable — except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
  • Unused purchases, made but never rendered, can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

How to request a refund

Email hello@rapworks.store with the word "refund" in the subject, the date of the charge, and the render or order reference. We do not have user accounts, so a payment reference is the fastest way for us to find the transaction.

We aim to respond within two business days and to complete approved refunds within ten business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method. If you paid by card, your bank may take a few more days to show the credit.

Disputes and chargebacks

If something looks wrong, contact us before opening a chargeback. A chargeback freezes the amount while the bank investigates and takes longer than a direct refund. We would rather fix a duplicate charge or a failed render the same week.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country. Where this policy and the law disagree, the law wins.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated before paid plans go live, and the date at the top will change. The beta rules — free, two renders per IP, no account, no card — are described on the pricing page and in the FAQ.

Related: pricing and beta terms, the FAQ and two example scenes: birthday rap song and pet rap video.

Common questions

Short answers about this policy and how it applies during the beta.

Is there anything to refund right now?

No. The beta takes no payments: no checkout, no top-ups and no subscription. If something claiming to be RapWorks has charged you, email us — it is either a different service or a scam, and we want to know about it.

What happens if a paid render fails?

Under the planned paid policy, a render that fails for a technical reason is not charged and does not consume a paid render. If you were charged for a render that never completed, you get a full refund or a replacement render, whichever you prefer.

Can I get a refund after a successful render?

A successfully delivered, downloadable video is a digital product and is generally not refundable, except where local consumer law requires it. Unused purchases that were never rendered can be refunded within 14 days under the planned policy.

How fast are refunds processed?

We aim to respond within two business days and to complete approved refunds within ten business days, back to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the credit. Contact us before opening a chargeback; a direct refund is faster.
